Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver Black Surf Limited Edition
Based on the standard Maxi Marine Diver watches，Ulysse Nardin recently released the Maxi Marine Diver Black Surf in a limited edition of 500 pieces. These new “>Ulyss Nardin watches boasts new black that is found on the dial, bezel and strap. In my eyes, the so called new black just looks like a kind of very dark brown.But when this new black meets rose gold, the result is fantastic and truly eye-pleasant.
The case is presented on 18k rose gold and is sized at 42.7mm. Beating inside in the COSC certified UN-26 automatic movement. The standard time, date display and the power reserve indicator driven by the reliable movement is harmoniously yet aesthetically visualized on the black dial. The nautical theme of the watch is perfectly emulated though the exquisite wave pattern on the dial and the bezel. Well, I do love the waves on the dial, though at first sight I thought they are clouds instead. And there is rich lume application on the hour markers and the hands for optimal reading at any place.
The Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver Black Surf limited edition actually has two versions. And only a very small difference on the strap can tell them apart. Well, as we all know, Maxi Marine Diver watches have a unique hybrid strap design featuring two large metal links. One version has 18k rose gold links, and the other one has new black links.
Each Black Surf watch is individually numbered with h a small plate on the side. I have no ideal of the exact price. But I expect the price is likely to be more then the standard Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver watches.
