Time To Tick

I wrote reviews about new watches shown at the Baselworld 2009 before the blog was open. Most of them were published at the idolreplicas.info, one of my personal blogs. For the sake of the elegant tick-tock  I witness in Baselworld 2009, here today i would like to share briefer reviews about some special watches. Better late than never. Let us have a closer look:

Tag HeuerGrand Carrera Calibre 17 RS and Calibre 8 RS Grand Date GMT

To celebrate Tag Heuer became a privileged member of  FHH, Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS Chronograph and Calibre 8 RS Grand Date GMT were created.

Displaying the contrast of rose gold and stainless steel, Calibre 17 RS inherits the tradition of Tag Heuer watches for racing sport. It highlights Grand Carrera chrono movement with COSC certificate and the double-rotation system(the minute chronograph at 9 and the hour chronograph at 3). The stainless steel case is 43mm at diameter. The bezel is crafted from solid rose gold. The dial receives meticulous brushed and polished finishing. The crocodile lether strap is coupled with solid stainless steel folding buckle and safety button.

The Calibre 8RS Grand Date GMT is an ideal choice for travellers. The 18k rose gold rotating system at 6 features Côtes de Genève and refined polished surface. The Grand date is displayed at 12  throguh the 18K window

Tudor Hydronaut Ⅱ Watches

Hydronaut Ⅱ Date & Chronograph are new members of Tudor watches this year. They are specially designed for deepsea divers.As the 15 minute before diving is extremely important for divers, Hydronaut Ⅱ mark the 15 minute with bright red on the single-rotating bezel.The polished stainless steel case houses an manual-winding movement. The pusher buttons are equipped with safety locking system. A rubber strap with Tudor logo completes the watch. Hydronaut Ⅱ Chronograph is fitted with black bezel.The Hydronaut Ⅱ Date is available in 41mm and 31mm. Three colors-black, silver and blue are offered for choosing.
