Jaeger LeCoultre New Dunhill Watch With Faceted Design
Jaeger LeCoultre and Dunhill both are under the wing of the prestigious Richemont Group. Jager Leger is world famous for its high-end luxury timepieces, while Dunhill, British-based is very influential when it comes to leather and luxury goods fields. Now, Jaeger LeCoultre has created a brand-new watch model for Dunhill, an exceptional timepiece featuring both faceted case and faceted sapphire crystal. The other Jaeger LeCoultre watch for Dunhill, to my knowledge, is the Dunhill DM7 Multifunction (as pictured below)also with faceted design.
The Jaeger LeCoultre’s new Dunhill watch, based on a design dated back to 1936, is available in either rose gold or stainless steel and is 50 high. The rectangular profile looks slim and elegant with impressive sharp lines that continue to the faceted sapphire crystal. Beating inside in the Jaeger LeCoultre 822 movement that provides central hours, minutes and small seconds displayed in a squared counter at 6. The white dial comes with refined pattern, Arabic numerals, blued steel hands and the text “A DUNHILL LTD LONDON”. The faceted crystal gives it an usual visual effect, while the good readability is well maintained.
The steel version is presented on black leather strap, and the rose gold ver is coupled with brown leather strap. The price for the rose gold version-$9,500 is nearly two times that of the steel version-$4,800 due to the high value of the gold.
